Publisher of the St. Augustine Catholic
Magazine
Most Rev. Victor Galeone
is the ninth bishop of the Diocese of Saint Augustine, and
is the publisher of the St. Augustine Catholic magazine. Bishop
Galeone is a graduate of St. Charles College in Catonsville, Md.
He completed his theological studies at the North American College
at the Gregorian University in Rome. He was ordained to the priesthood
on Dec. 18, 1960. Bishop Galeone received his Sacrae Theologiae
Licentiatus from Gregorian University in 1961 and his master’s
in education from Loyola College in Baltimore in 1969. He has served
as a pastor in several parishes of the Archdiocese of Baltimore,
a teacher and principal, and as a missionary in Peru.

Editor, St. Augustine Catholic Magazine
Kathleen Bagg serves as the director of Communications for the Diocese
of Saint Augustine and has been the editor the St. Augustine Catholic
Magazine since its inception in 1991. She is a graduate of New Mexico
State University in Las Cruces, N.M. where she earned a bachelor’s
in journalism with an emphasis in broadcast news.

Dr. Michael Gannon is a Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus
of History at the University of Florida, and a noted author. One
of Florida’s foremost historians, Dr. Gannon has published
the following books: The Cross in the Sand: The Early Catholic Church
in Florida (1513-1870), Florida: A Short History, Revised Edition,
The New History of Florida, Rebel Bishop: Augustin Verot, Florida’s
Civil War Prelate and most recently Michael Gannon’s History
of Florida in 40 Minutes.

Shannon Scruby-Henderson is a freelance writer with 25 years of
experience in advertising, commercial and editorial projects. She
is a Bishop Kenny graduate and she earned her B.A. at Furman University
and M.A. in English Literature from the University of Florida.
Father Charles Irvin
The Last Word
Father Charles Irvin received his B.B.A., M.B.A. and J.D. at the
University of Michigan. He also received a B.A. from Sacred Heart
Major Seminary in Detroit and a M.Div. from St. John Provincial
Seminary in Plymouth, Mich. Father Charlie was a pastor for many
years and is the founding editor of FAITH Magazine for the Diocese
of Lansing. In 2005, he published his first book, Entering the Heart
of God, Praying the Lord’s Prayer in our Day.

Joseph Krupp
In the Know with Father Joe
Father Joseph Krupp was a comedy writer for FOX who discovered he
had a calling to the priesthood. He holds a B.A. from the University
of Michigan-Flint, and a M.Div. from Sacred Heart Major Seminary
in Detroit. He is director of campus ministry at St. John Student
Center.

Cathleen McGreal
Parenting Journey
Dr. Cathleen McGreal is a psychology professor at Michigan State
University. She received her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from
MSU in 1984, focusing on inter-generational family relationships.
Cathleen is a certified spiritual director through the St. Francis
Retreat Center/Dominican Center for Religious Development program.
She has conducted numerous workshops and retreats integrating psychology
and spirituality and has taught courses at the Summer Institute
at the University of Notre Dame.

Sister Ann Shields is a member of the Servants of God's Love. She
is the author of numerous books on spirituality.
